Supervisor

Our client, one of Australia's leading manufacturers of roll formed steel building products, have an exciting opportunity for a Supervisor to join their well-established team on a casual basis located in Maddington.

The role will be working Monday - Friday, 7am-3pm, with opportunity for overtime and offers a competitive hourly rate of $43 per hour (inclusive of 25% casual loading)!

Key Responsibilities

• Assisting the Plant Manager to monitor and implement processed to boost efficiency and performance
• Manual handling of Sheetmetal product, lengths can be anywhere from 1m – 3m long, not overly heavy but can be awkward lengths.
• Offside machine – manually remove products from end of production line and place into racking/storage.
• Demonstrating safe work practices and maintaining a safe working environment.

Successful candidates will possess:

• Drivers licence and reliable vehicle
• Current High Risk Work LF licence
• Proven experience in a similar position
• Experience within steel/metal distribution or manufacturing - highly desirable
• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
• Ability to provide a National Police Clearance
